Dealio's Deal

If you see me around town I'll probably be toting this here bag around with me.  Yup... you got it... my coupon bag.  Isn't she a beaut?!?!  It's from Land's End and is the medium sized long handled tote.  I absolutely love it!

It's the perfect size for placing my ever expanding and no longer zipping Penny in along with a reusable bag or two and my wallet.  The extra long strap/handle makes it easy to swing onto my shoulder while carrying the rest of my purchases out to the car.

And the better thing was the price.  FREE!  Well... sort of.  Back in December I won a gift card for Lands End at a Twitter party.  I could have purchased it then... but instead opted for items in the Lands End Outlet near me.  I had a few bucks leftover, and well it went towards this. A few extra bucks and poof... it's all mine!

Well Kim's Dealio is on Facebook, Twitter, and even has it's own blog.  Yup... I've started yet another.  Seriously... I've got problems lol!

I've really taken to this whole couponing thing.  I've seen savings and I like it.  I've got a stockpile and plan to keep working on adding to it.

Freebies Galor!

So I wasn't going to post about this and then I thought... why the heck not!

Two nights this week we had a free dinner.  Not just one of us... both of us.  I got coupons from Crowdcut for free Hoagies at Davanni's.  So delicious.  I've never had one from there... we usually get a pizza or the garlic cheese bread from there.  These were... oh my... my mouth is watering!  So, for two nights this week we had free hoagies.

Then tonight we had Chipotle... and yes, I had a coupon for that too... not as good as a deal but it was BOGO! I love free food!

Penny got a face lift

Oh Penny... she just wasn't happy with herself.  She really wanted some work done... a larger ring... better support and a tighter seal.  (LOL)

Pocket on the front for pens and post it notes and a large pocket for rebates that have been submitted.

Meet Penny

I thought it was about time to introduce my readers to my friend Penny. She recently came to live in our house and I think she's here for the long haul :)  Let's see what she's all about...

Love her front zipper... holds a pack of post it notes, scissors, and an extra pen.

Pockets!  I use each and every one.  One for coupons I'm going to use, one for coupons that I have the product in my cart and then the big pocket to hold additional plastic sheets.

I have one one pocket that I keep any mail in rebates in.

One section devoted just to coupons for specific stores.

I've got a ton of sections.  They are seriously great section dividers.

I found this great PDF that can be printed out of a table of contents and dividers from the Krazy Coupon Lady.  It's really working for me!  Be sure to check out her beginners section!

Ummm so organized in my baseball card pages.  I bought two packs.

Little Boys Don't Count

So I've decided that the company Ultra Pro doesn't think little boys can count.  I guess it could be grown men who live in their mother's basements.  Yeah... they can't count either.  I'll come back to this...

Being that I'm diving into couponing 100% now I've decided to change up my coupon binder.  It just wasn't working for me to the fullest.  I've decide to revamp it.  And thankfully I found one online that I think will work for me now... but I know it wouldn't have worked for me when I started.

So.... off to Target I went.

I already had the perfect binder that I bought during school supply time.  And I thought I had enough page protectors... time will tell on that... I think I've got a few more somewhere in this house that I can use.  But what I needed yet was those 9 pocket baseball card pages.  (See... I'm getting back to the little boys who can't count!)

It was suggested that I would probably want about 60 pages.  Great.  Found them in the front of the store by a massive row of trading cards after talking to a guy who I'm sure lives in his mom's basement and works at Target.   There they were just waiting for me to snatch them up.  The Ultra Pro 9-Pocket Pages #83275.  30 pages to a pack.  I quickly grabbed two packs and was on my way.

I got home... went straight to my computer and started printing the 40 title pages for each section of my new coupon binder.  Then I stuffed 30 or so of the title pages into the page protectors that I had.  Without stopping to see if I had more page protectors I decided to just add a sheet of the 9 pockets between each title page that I had already.

What do you know... only 25 sheets.  UGH.  That means I'll be short.  I counted.  And counted them again for good measure.  I searched around me to make sure they didn't slip of the table that I was working on.  Nothing.  There were suppose to be 30 sheets in each pack.

Since I had a second pack I ripped it open to see if it had 30.  Not so much.  So apparently little boys only care to organize... not count.

I'll have to go and buy a 3rd pack... which really ticks me off since now I'll have to wait to totally organize my binder since I'm short 10 pages.  And I'll have to buy another pack that says it has 30 pages in it but will only have 25.  And, since it's Target I'll spend more money cuz who can just go into Target and get what they need and walk out?
