Dang Dog...

Late last week Jerome came down with a cold. Now I think I'm starting to get it. I suppose it's from the two of us getting up and going outside with a puppy in this wonderful -30 with the wind chill temperatures in good ol' Minnesota. Ugh.

Needless to say, last night I made Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner and a lemon budnt cake. Once I was done cooking and eating I headed to bed to watch some TV and doze off into sleep.

I woke up around 1:30 dying of thirst. Jerome yelled from bed to see if the dog needed some water... which he scarfed down almost a whole bowl of water. Our stupid new cool mist humidifier needs to die. It doesn't push out enough water into the air... it's soooooo dry. Sucks that I tossed the box right away too and I just bought the stupid thing this year. Ughhhh.

I apparently slept so hard that I didn't notice that Jerome got up and left for work this morning. Well... hopefully I get rested up and skip the whole cold thing!

Things are moving along...

Well today I placed the order for my dress... It should be in the store July 19... just a month before the wedding... ahhhhhh!

The hall has been rented.

The girls have been told they can order their dresses... and the sooner the better due to upcoming alterations.

And Jerome and I will be looking at tuxs (not sure if that's spelled right? Tuxes? Tuxs? Tuxedos?) either this weekend or next week to pick them out... and then to let the groomsmen (and any others) know what style we are going with.

I've started to get all the address for my guests and Jerome is suppose to be working on his.

I need to order the invites that I saw and have Josh (co-worker) help me out with them.

We still need a dj, a photographer, and a cake. Shoot I was suppose to call the possible cake people... jeeeeesh! Too much going on!

Already searching

Well... I've already started looking at stuff... Here is a lilac cake that I thought was pretty nice... I love the fact that the lilacs are on it and then there is no cake topper!
