Oh that little sh!t...

WARNING... THIS COULD BE GRAPHIC...
DON'T READ THIS WHILE YOU ARE EATING AT YOUR DESK!

Yep... I'd be talking about the one and only LILY. I caught her.

I was sitting at the computer checking my email when I heard her walk into the bathroom. I didn't yell at her like I usually do, just because I wanted to see if she actually would do it. She walked around the bathroom. Sniffing.

Then she did it. She scratched. WHAT?!?!?! Yeah... she scratched like she was in her cat box. Then she squatted and I yelled at the top of my lungs... DON'T YOU DO IT! I think I could have scared the piss out of her... but I didn't!

I picked her up and took her to her litter box. She jumped right out and ran under the living room table. I opened up the litter box, thinking okay maybe she's "telling" me that I need to clean it. Nope... there were NO pee spots in her litter box... just ummmm... number two.

What a little stinker!

What should I do?

  1. when my cat does that it is usually bc she doesn't feel well. Infact she did that yesterday, the second time there was blood in her urine and had to take her to the vet. j

  2. Is this a normal thing for cats to do when they have a UTI?

Thank goodness it's in the bathroom where I can toss the rugs in the washer and not in the living room where the rugs are huge or in the office where there is carpet.

She's acting the same - just peeing in the wrong place!

    Anyone know?????

  3. The vet told me that when cats pee in an area other than litter box it is an indicator that something is wrong.
