Jerome and I woke up and got dressed. We didn't have any plans for the day really... just to go to shore to get our free Sapphire at some point. We took our time getting up and eating breakfast. We brought our "shore bag" with us to breakfast so we could head straight to the tender boat afterwards.
When we were finished with breakfast we had to go and get a sticker for the tender boat ride. Not really sure why since no one was checking if we had a sticker when we actually got to the tender boat....but it was protocol so we did it. Number 19. How odd, that's the 2nd time we've been number 19 for something regarding this cruise. We headed down to Deck Zero. Sounds kinda scary doesn't it! Basically down to the bottom of the boat where we can board the "little" boat to go to shore.

I say "little" since the tender boat was a good sized boat sitting about 60 people. When the guy said we were going to have to take a small boat here I was thinking a "dingy".... boy was I wrong.
We got to shore and noticed the Grand Cayman sign... being the tourist that we are of course we took our pictures there.

We walked around Grand Cayman... just a lot of shops for people with lots of money or those who want to open their off shore account. Needless to say... not us. We walked around and got our free Sapphire... they actually ended up giving us three... now are they real... well I'll take it into a jewelers and see if it's even worth making them into anything.
We walked around and saw a tattoo parlor. Oh the thought was there. We even walked in to see what their prices were looking like... but nope... no tats on this trip. We kept walking around but got kinda tired. We decided to take a seat at a picnic table that was outside of a KFC... yup... nothing on the island but banks and a KFC! We drank some water, took a look at the map to see if we were missing any thing and decided to go to one more store.
We went to the place where we were suggested to go by Andrew our Cruise shopper for black coral. We weren't impressed. Then we went to more stores. We actually found a great shop for some touristy stuff. We saw the Hard Rock Cafe and the Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville restaurants. Jerome even found a truck that had Rims on it... He was pretty excited to see that.

We were pretty much done and unfortunately not impressed. We hoped this would be the "worst" port since it wasn't that bad... just not for us. We headed back to the tender boat dock to go back to the ship.
On our way we saw this ship coming into Grand Cayman... I think we left just in time!

When we got back on the ship I took a few pictures that can give you an idea of boarding the tender boat and the ship.

There was also a pretty funny sign which when I took the picture I got yelled at by the sail and sign card taker person saying I was in a secure area and that I shouldn't be taking pictures... what the heck?!?!?!?! Oh well.... again... got what I wanted and went about my business!

Once we stopped at the room we decided to get some late lunch and then I was going to head to the pool. Jerome took the camera and took some pics of us leaving Grand Cayman.
It was a pretty quiet night. We went to a jewelry sale that the ship was having and then to a comedian and headed to bed.
