Here's an alternative suggestion regarding the receiving line. The bride and groom dismiss the guests themselves, one row at a time, instead of the guests coming out of the ceremony to the couple.
Pampered Chef Consultant Colleen did this at her wedding and I loved it. What do you think?
It is a really great idea...only thing is...it take a while! But if we nothing but time after the ceremony...then I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteI figure it would take the same amount of time... if we would go to the "bar" and stand there as they walk out....I dunno... still debating... just an OPTION.
ReplyDeleteI have been to a few weddings where the bride and groom went row by row as people left the ceremony and I thought it was cool. It's a good way to make sure you have contact with everyone at least once.
